The Ultimate Indoor Bike Training Playlist

01
Yana Belamoina (MTB Cross-country)
Avicii – HeyBrother
This song reminds me of some of my strongest emotions. When I was riding my heaviest Cape Epic race, eight days in a row, after each finish when called to the podium they turned on this song. So every time I hear this song, I remember that pain of victory!
BoomBox and Tina Karol – Besodnia
Boombox is one of my favourite Ukrainian musicians. His songs touch the heart, deeply, with such strong words. I get goosebumps when I listen to this song!
Rag’n’Bone Man – Human
This is such a cool song.
Basta – Sansara
Basta is a Russian hip-hop artist that mixes soulful lyrics with amazing music. The lyrics in this song always makes me think when I hear it.
02
Pauline Ferrand-Prévot (MTB Cross-country)
The three-time mountain bike cross-country world champion has been one of the most consistent athletes in the discipline over the last few seasons. Being French, naturally Pauline Ferrand-Prévot's choices in what she listens to while she trains indoors favour the French language. There's also a rockier edge to them, as these tracks below show.
03
Martin Maes (MTB Downhill/Enduro)
Martin Maes is an enduro downhill mountain bike rider from Belgium who’s been recording some impressive results since he started riding at the tender age of five. See what he listens to to keep himself motivated to train below.
04
Henrique Avancini (MTB Cross-country)
Henrique Avancini is one mountain bike athlete who always gives his all when he's out racing. The same amount of commitment is shown in whatever he does and that includes his training at home in Brazil. Below is just a selection of the kind of music that gets him rocking when he's spinning the wheels on a trainer.
05
Ellen Noble (Cyclocross/MTB Cross-country)
Ellen Noble has been called one of the most exciting riders in US cyclocross, and for good reason: she’s won titles, broken barriers and is leading the next generation through her cyclocross camps. See what she listens to when training with her workout playlist below.
06
Finn Iles (MTB Downhill)
Finn Iles is arguably one of the must-watch downhillers when a Mercedes-Benz UCI World Cup weekend comes around. Iles is still 22, so he's grown up influenced by rap music and this is his preferred genre of music to listen to when he trains.
07
Richie Rude (MTB Enduro)
Richie Rude is one of America’s most decorated MTB enduro riders and the first man to win back-to-back championship titles on the Enduro World Series. See what he listens to when he's training below.
08
Greg Callaghan (MTB Enduro)
My music taste changes pretty often between my moods so my playlists are very mixed!
When warming up for a race or during training I always love songs that have featured in good riding videos; when I hear these songs I can visualise sick riding and it really gets me fired up! Any song that gets me singing along or dancing always helps get me through those tough training sessions or excited for a race. Usually something with a strong beat or passionate lyrics hits the spot for me.
Buffalo Springfield – For What It's Worth
This one always calms my nerves down before a race and lets me settle into my warm up before building up the fire for the start. It reminds me of this video which instantly makes me dream of smooth, flowy riding.
Grits Featuring Toby Mac – Ooh Aah
Such a feel good song, always gets me in a good mood.
Wolfmother – Woman
This reminds me of a Chris Kovarik video from the early 2000s where he is SENDING it and makes me want to do the same!
Bliss n Eso feat Ceekay – My Life
The video to this song is about a BMX rider who suffered a life changing injury and documents his journey to overcome his injuries. Those images combined with the lyrics really motivates me to make the most of what I'm doing right now.
Eminem – Lose Yourself
Would a training playlist be complete without it? Always listen to this one before a race or during training to get fired up, it's just perfect for it!
