Mother Wata
Mother Wata, is an American vocalist and songwriter. Raised in Los Angeles County, Wata was surrounded by musicians and artists heavily involved in the music industry. This gave birth to a deep desire towards her crusade to stardom.
Wata's multi-talented father Deon 'Gangsta Dee' Barnett, of the Compton duo 2nd II None, holds a great responsibility for Wata's introduction into the music industry. Along with a mixture of her father's love of hip-hop, Wata's mother Latisha Chappell, a former performer of the Young Saints introduced Wata to the sound of R&B, jazz and blues. Wata's musical influences range from alternative R&B, afropunk and hip-hop. Wata composes genre-less music that combines the future and past sounds into a tale of the now.

Versus.XX is an artist, producer and engineer from Azusa, California. His sound represents a melancholic vibe that brings a dreamy spacious energy which allows him to separate himself from his peers.
As well as producing and performing throughout LA, Versus has creative ties in Europe that widens his audience and creative output. These sounds and cultural influences add another layer to his work, bringing a different vibe compared to his LA counterparts. With the balance of high-end production and creativity, transparency and dedication to his craft, Versus.XX has built a brand that separates him from his peers and shows his vision for longevity.
Expanding his artistic output, Versus.XX continues to produce for other artists while releasing music in his own right. His most recent release, Supernova.XX, was released in February 2020.
