From teaching skating in India to designing skate parks in Prague, Maxim Habanec has done it all. In fact, he's already had a storied skateboarding life.
Having started skating at the age of just six, Maxim had already appeared in Europe's biggest skate magazine by the age of 9.
A stalwart of the ballistic Czech skate scene and two-time winner of Prague's legendary Mystic Cup, Max has also produced his own globetrotting skate show Skate Of Mind, as well as delivering big time on Red Bull Skateboarding trips through Vietnam and Paraguay.
Alongside all these exploits, Max surprised the Czech skate scene in 2018 by opening the Maxspace indoor skatepark in Prague's fashionable Pragovka arts district, drafting in Mystic Constructions to extend it and add a superb indoor bowl later that year.
Not content with that, Max went on to create Red Bull Steep Street, which pits only the bravest skaters against one another annually on a downhill, downtown obstacle course.
It's fair to say that Maxim Habanec lives and breathes skateboarding every day!
