Sydney's Jarvis Earle has long been known around his hometown of Cronulla for his seamless style, progressive air game and infectious smile. Although he has tasted success around the globe, winning the 2022 WSL World Junior Championships might be the best of the lot.
Jarvis took out junior surfing's highest honour in San Diego, California, sealing the deal with a near-perfect 9.5 in the final to add a World Junior title to a stacked resume that includes the Australian Junior Championships, multiple wins on the Qualifying Series, and making his Championship Tour debut as a wildcard at the 2023 Margaret River Pro.
A scholarship student at Surfing Australia's High Performance Centre, Jarvis has tasted incredible success on the regional WSL Qualifying Series, with big wins overseas at the 2022 Taiwan Open of Surfing and in Indonesia at the 2024 Krui Pro, and multiple victories in Australia.
After graduating from the Australia/Oceania Qualifying Series, Jarvis has moved onto the WSL's global Challenger Series, his Championship Tour dreams one step closer to reality. If a third place finish at the prestigious US Open in 2024 is anything to go by, CT status seems a matter of when, not if, and then the world will finally get to enjoy the talent that Australia has seen coming for years.
