The best b-boys and b-girls battled it out to represent Canada at the 2024 Red Bull BC One World Final in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with B-Boy Onton and B-Girl Emma reigning supreme.
The best b-boys and b-girls from coast to coast converged on Toronto for the National Finals on May 24, a culmination of an already intense push towards representing Canada on the world stage at the Red Bull BC One World Final 2024 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Competing for a crowd of nearly 900 attendees, 24 breakers from across the country participated in Friday’s cypher. Participants included winners of qualifier events in Calgary, Vancouver, and Montreal. Hand selected wildcards completed the participant brackets of 16 b-boys and 8 b-girls.
An incredible event was capped off with Emma and Onton being crowned the winners of the 2024 Red Bull BC One Cypher Canada. As the winners of Cypher Canada, Emma and Onton move on to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for the World Final competition.

In order to make it to the National Final, b-boys and b-girls will first have to battle it out in the regional cyphers.
This year, cyphers will be held in Vancouver on April 13, Calgary on April 20, and Montreal on May 10. Doors will open at 7:00pm and the live battles will kick off at 8:00pm.
