Elite climbers go head-to-head on identical boulder problems in a high-pressure knockout format, with clear winners every round, until one remains to claim the title at the first-ever Pro Climbing League in London, UK.

This debut event at Magazine London, Greenwich, on February 28 features world-class athletes battling side by side across three knockout rounds.

Rounds:

Qualifying: Each matchup sees two climbers battle on three boulders. Victory goes to whoever wins two out of the three problems. If both finish, the first to reach the top wins. No tops? The climber who controlled the highest move advances. If that’s still equal, the one who reached the highest point first wins.

Semi-finals: The climbers who advance from the opening matchups move on to the next stage, where they face off together on one boulder, under the same head-to-head rules and scoring system as qualifying.

Finals: The four remaining climbers battle it out for podium positions, tackling another set of identical boulders—one battle to crown the ultimate champion and one battle for third place—under the same rules as the previous rounds.
