Stupaczuk and Sanz nevertheless emerged with plenty of positives after reaching the final. Their semi-final victory over Galán and Chingotto, followed by a competitive showing against the world number ones, made them one of the standout men's pairs in Düsseldorf.
In the women's draw, Fernández and Calvo continued to build on their London P1 breakthrough. Their second title together came after two demanding matches against established opposition, including a semi-final victory over González and Josemaría that lasted more than three hours.
With the tour moving on to Milan, the next challenge is whether Coello and Tapia can extend their winning streak and whether Fernández and Calvo can add another title to their growing collection.
