History in the making at Red Bull Hardline British Columbia 2026

After days of preparation and practice sessions, riders faced the ultimate challenge as race day arrived in British Columbia a day earlier than expected. With inclement weather in the forecast, the decision was made to move the event forward by a day to take place on Friday, October 16 instead of the originally scheduled Saturday, October 17.
Beautiful conditions, relentless terrain, and no room for error, every section of the course demanded complete commitment from start to finish and delivered its fair share of drama, rewarding clean runs while reminding competitors just how difficult Red Bull Hardline can be.

It was insane, the fans were so crazy all day [and] even with the schedule change they all made it out. They were super cool, Canada always delivers.
Early race leaders set the tone early, with Lachlan Stevens-Mcnab setting his time as only the third men’s rider on the course. His precision around the most technical sections and ability to keep his speed in the gaps showed the other riders they’d have to lay it all on the line to beat his time.
As the competition intensified, the times continued to be challenged throughout the afternoon. Every rider brought their own approach to the course, keeping the spectators on site and fans watching around the world holding their breath.
Bernard Kerr was the second last men’s rider to drop and was on a podium-topping pace, but stumbled as he neared the end of the course, showing just how unforgiving Red Bull Hardline can be.

Only 2 tenths of a second separated 2nd and 3rd place, with Stevens-Mcnab throwing down a time of 3:32.681 for 2nd and fellow New Zealander Oli Clark finishing with a time of 3:32.801 to round out the podium.
Local hero Jackson Goldstone was the last to drop after registering the fastest seeding time and got off to an absolutely blistering pace. He was just ahead of Vermette’s sector times throughout the top of the course only to run into a difficult technical section where he lost his footing, ultimately securing the victory for Vermette.
"It’s a physical, long track and I was so happy to put down a good run after my crash yesterday. To put one down, it felt nice, so I’m stoked," said Vermette after his victory.
