The chimney at Trbovlje Power Station soars 360 metres into the sky above Slovenia. Often piercing the low-lying cloud, it stands as the highest chimney in Europe. For Domen Škofic and Janja Garnbret, it’s been their ultimate climbing goal in their homeland. The idea to climb it was born in 2015 and five years on it becomes a reality. On a foggy morning, with barely half the chimney visible, they set about the unthinkable. Neither have ever attempted something so outlandish. Little do they know what lie ahead on the man-made creation.
