The League of Legends World Championship came to a thrilling climax this past weekend at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, with SKT T1 doing battle against Samsung Galaxy in a six hour epic final to end all finals – and setting a few records along the way.
The South Korean squad are now three time winners, lifting the Summoner's Cup on two different continents. Faker and crew haven't just won a hat-trick, they've won half of all Worlds to have taken place so far – as well as a huge slice of the overall championship prize pool.
Of course, as our visual guide to the 2016 tournament shows, SKT's triumph was far from the only story from the past month. Dive in below for our breakdown below on everything from the prize money to the key players and the crucial champions.
