Watch as windsurfer Jason heads to the north shore of Oahu to test himself against an amazing wave.
With a rare forecast for good conditions - northerly winds and a big ground swell - Jason Polakow and Robby Swift take the opportunity to head up to the area of Oahu known as 'Backyards' in search of a challenging day's sailing.
It's a real high performance wave. Sorta reminds me of Cape Verde on steroids.

In this first part of the film, Jason introduces us to some of the dangers around. There's not just that huge, powerful and unpredictable wave, Backyards also features a shallow reef aptly named 'The Boneyard' waiting for wipeouts.
Plenty of risks means plenty of rewards though and the guys are soon right in the thick of it. Check out the video for the first installment of action from their trip.
