Have you ever wondered what the secret is to a FIFA pro's success? Well, there is no doubt that having a great Ultimate Team contributes towards a fruitful FIFA career. In My FUT, we talk with some of the game's best players to find out who is in their XI and why they made their picks.
We begin with Zelonius, who represents FUTWIZ's esports team. As well as being a top FIFA player who has been an MVP at the Gfinity Elite Series, he's also a Twitch streamer and he also has a YouTube channel. Check out who made it into Zelonius' FIFA 18 Ultimate Team XI below:

My keeper is a pretty standard pick – Team Of The Year De Gea. This choice isn’t much to do with playing style – he’s just the highest rated keeper in the game. Very useful and reliable compared to most keepers.
Left Back: Marcelo
I really like him as a full back as he is pretty quick and strong. One of the best things about him compared to some of the other defenders is that he has four-star skills on his weak foot which is quite useful. He’s got a pretty good finishing stat too, which suits me as I like using attacking full backs.
Right Back: Kyle Walker
I would probably say Kyle Walker but there are quite a few choices here like Joshua Kimmich, Antonio Valencia, Javier Zanetti and so on. Walker is probably the most consistent one – he isn’t the best going forward but he is very reliable and physically the best fullback in the game.
Centre Backs: Sergio Ramos and Paolo Maldini
These two are the ones that I use at events. Both are very good on the ball, can pass and are pretty tall. Pretty much everyone would use one of these guys.
Defensive Midfielders: Ruud Gullit and Patrick Vieira
Sometimes I use N’golo Kante but at events I stick to these two. Again, it’s super useful to have very tall and strong players. Gullit has a five-star weak foot, he’s very good on the ball and Vieira is probably the best defensive midfielder in the game. You’ll rarely see a pro who doesn’t use him.
Attacking Midfielders: Pele and Kevin De Bruyne

I use Pele quite a bit actually – I like him. Neymar is probably slightly better but just hard to fit him into the formation because I didn’t use a right midfielder. Also Kevin De Bruyne, I like having a player with a five-star weak foot. One of my favourite things to have is a player who is good with long shots and De Bruyne fits into that very well. He has amazing stats and I’d say he is one of those players that is a bit underused by pros.
Forwards: CR7 Ronaldo and Brazilian Ronaldo

Up front is pretty standard – R9 and CR7. R9 has the Icon link which is very good, as well as five-star weak foot. CR7 is just a no brainer, he’s fast, strong, tall. He pretty much is the all-round player who can do everything so he is a must have.
Wildcard: Toni Kroos
My favourite player in football is Toni Kroos who has a very high rating in the game, but the way he plays doesn’t translate to the game as well. He’s arguably one of the best midfielders in actual football but because he has 60 pace in the game and something like 35 jumping, Tiemoue Bakayoko is more useful than him! If you played him against the pros you’d just get bullied which is bit of a shame because I would absolutely love to play him in my team in FIFA.
Cost: £30
I am probably a bit of a unique case but until about February I hadn’t spent any money on the game. I was a teacher until about August and when the game came out I decided I was going to risk it and see if I could go pro. I didn’t really have the money to put into FIFA points so I did a road to glory, went through all of that, managed to qualify so that by then my team was decent. I spent £30 on the last weekend of February when it was the lunar two-for-one packs which I kind of regret because I got absolutely nothing from it. Sadly, as an esport it has an element of pay to win which isn’t a very good thing but can’t really see that changing anytime soon.
