A former world junior number one, Indian badminton star Lakshya Sen is now a top-10 star in the senior ranks and pressing for more major titles.

From a young age, Lakshya Sen showed great promise as a badminton player. He trained at the Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy. He went on to have a brilliant year in the junior badminton circuit in 2016 and won the bronze medal at Junior Asian Championship. Lakshya claimed the number one spot junior singles player in the 2017 BWF World Junior ranking.

In 2018, Lakshya emerged as the champion at the Asian Junior Championships. That same year he clinched the bronze medal at the BWF Junior World Championships. Lakshya went on to win both the Belgian International tournament and three BWF Tour titles in 2019.
