Marc 'Caedrel' Lamont is a British esports personality and influential figure in the League of Legends community, whose journey from competitive player to team founder and content creator reflects both passion and resilience. Born in Doncaster, England, he began his LoL career in 2015, quickly climbing the ranked ladder and eventually turning professional, playing for multiple teams across Europe, including a stint in the LEC with Excel Esports.
Despite early setbacks and team changes, Lamont’s competitive drive pushed him to adapt roles – from mid-laner to jungler – before retiring from professional play in 2020 to pursue casting and analysis, where his insightful commentary and engaging presence made him a recognisable voice in major tournaments.
After three years as a caster, Lamont transitioned to full-time streaming, amassing one of the largest LoL channels on Twitch. In 2024, he founded his own esports organisation, Los Ratones. With Los Ratones, he pioneered a transparent approach – streaming team practices and strategies live – and led the squad to rapid success on the competitive tier-2 scene and in high-profile events like Red Bull League of Its Own, captivating audiences with both performance and personality.
