After a two-year hiatus, Red Bull Music Academy returns to Notting Hill Carnival with two days of free parties, open to all.

On Sunday August 27, the RBMA Sound System takes over Emslie Horniman Pleasance Park with a world-first – a joint performance from Jamaican dancehall star Spice and British rapper Stefflon Don – as well as Mixpak boss Dre Skull, Afrobeats trailblazers Belly Squad, AfroWave pioneer Afro B, Conducta, P Montana, Lil C, host Serocee and a very special guest TBC. Working hand-in-hand with Notting Hill Carnival Trust, the park will be open to the public for free, from the first track to the last!

Then on Monday August 28, RBMA will link up with Mangrove, one of the UK's most prominent and well-respected steel bands, to create a bespoke carnival float. Trinidadian soca stars Bunji Garlin, Fay-Ann Lyons and Olatunji will be flying in to perform on-board to Mangrove’s masqueraders and the wider Notting Hill Mangrove community, with additional performance from The Heatwave, DJ Puffy, Jus Now, Hipsters Don't Dance, Joni Rich, Survival #1 and PAs from Mangrove's soca artists Soca Jonny, Sunshine & Nadiva and Jo Money. Look out for us on the official Carnival route if you want to join in!

Listen to the Notting Hill Channel on Red Bull Radio with exclusive mixes, features and interviews from the likes of Jackmaster, Oneman, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, David Rodigan, Jah Shaka and many more.
