Red Bull Cerro Abajo Stuttgart is the season finale of the world's premier urban downhill mountain bike series, and Germany's first-ever stop. On September 5-6, 2026 elite riders will race a purpose-built course through Stuttgart's steep stairways, cobbled alleys and tight urban corridors, battling for the Red Bull Cerro Abajo world championship title. Red Bull Cerro Abajo is an urban downhill MTB world series that drops the planet's most fearless riders into some of the steepest, most technically demanding city streets in existence. Points are on the line at every stop, and the rider who accumulates the most across the full season is crowned Red Bull Cerro Abajo champion.

Now with the championship standings tight heading into the final round, everything comes down to Stuttgart on 5-6 September. The title race is wide open, and Germany gets to witness it all unfold at its very own World Series debut.
The 2025/26 series has already delivered two defining rounds. Roger Vieira took the season opener in Genoa, Italy in August 2025, before Sebastián Holguín rewrote the record books with a history-making victory at Red Bull Valparaíso Cerro Abajo in Chile in February 2026. The competition headed back to Genoa once again in June, resulting in a triumphant return for Brazil's Vieira, who claimed another epic win in the Italian city.

What makes Red Bull Cerro Abajo unique?
- Thirty-five of the world’s best MTB riders will tear down purpose-built features, steep stairways and narrow streets.
- The athletes will battle it out for the World Championship title on an exclusively designed urban course. Stuttgart is the final stop of the international series.
- Among the riders are local hero and three-time German MTB Champion Johannes 'Fischi' Fischbach, Urban DH legend Tomáš Slavík and series leader Roger Vieira.
