What does a twin-supercharged Ferrari 599 drift car sound like? Pretty bloody epic, obvs!
The video above shows the 6.0-litre V12-engined Ferrari 599 of Italian racer Federico Sceriffo getting ragged at the Bologna Motor Show. And while we’ve seen crazy drift cars before – Mad Mike Whiddett’s1,200bhp RADBUL Mazda MX-5 and Ryan Tuerck’s Ferrari 458-engined Toyota GT4586 spring to mind – this might be the maddest and baddest yet.
The car, nicknamed 'Fiorella', was built by the FFF Drifting Department, and churns out a reported 900bhp. And if you want to see it in regular action in 2018, you’re in luck, because Sceriffo will use the mighty Fezza to compete in this year’s Formula DRIFT season, kicking off at Long Beach in California on April 6-7. So if you needed one more reason to watch Formula Drift – now you have it!
