Nissan have broken a new world record
Nissan have skidded and smoked their way into the Guinness Book of Records after a specially-tuned version of one of the marque’s GT-Rs pulled off a 189mph, 30-degree drift at the United Arab Emirates’ Fujairah International Airport.
With Japanese drift champion Masato Kawabata behind the wheel of a 1,380 horsepower GT-R, Nissan beat the previous 135.44mph record set by Polish drift racer and rally rider Kuba Przygoński in a Toyota GT86 in 2013.
