A Nissan GT-R just drifted at 190mph
The Japanese firm smashes the world speed drifting record in the United Arab Emirates.
Nissan have skidded and smoked their way into the Guinness Book of Records after a specially-tuned version of one of the marque’s GT-Rs pulled off a 189mph, 30-degree drift at the United Arab Emirates’ Fujairah International Airport.
With Japanese drift champion Masato Kawabata behind the wheel of a 1,380 horsepower GT-R, Nissan beat the previous 135.44mph record set by Polish drift racer and rally rider Kuba Przygoński in a Toyota GT86 in 2013.
