Things get heated in the German F4 championship after a clumsy crash.
A wise man once said: “When the going gets tough, the tough hide under the table.” With no table in sight for German F4 racer Oliver Söderström after he’d crashed into rival Robin Brezina during the finale of the German F4 series, running away from his enraged fellow driver had to suffice.
The two racers were just 10 minutes away from the end of their season when Söderström made not one but two clumsy moves, clonking into the side of Jordan Love’s SMC Schwärzler Motorsport Concepts car before veering in front of Brezina, with the resulting contact taking both drivers out.
After coming to a stop in the gravel trap, a furious Brezina rushed towards Söderström, with the Swedish driver quickly deciding that running towards the protection of Hockenheim’s burly marshals was his best option. See if you can spot one of those marshals trying to stifle a chuckle at 0:57…
