The sun came out to play over Alexandra Palace for the Red Bull Soapbox race in London, and so did this year's incredible competitors!
After hours of fun, thrills and spills, Team Gas Gas Gas triumphed to the top step of the podium. They were on a mission to prevent the zombie apocalypse and they succeeded by conquering the course in Ally Pally.

In second place was Bumblebee Brawl with a transformer style bee themed car. Third place went to Team Apollocalyptic in their space themed car, honouring 50 years since man walked on the moon.
Absolutely amazing. We didn't expect this. We've been here before and we came 14th and we just wanted to improve on that. We've been training for two years and it took 90 days to the build the soapbox.
The judges this year were; snowboarder and bronze medalist Billy Morgan, wakeboarder Joe Battleday, rugby player Max Evans and Patrick Ladbury from Great Northern.

Fan were all able to vote in The People's choice award, which went to Team Illuminati with a car based on a lightbulb design.
