The HeavyTrackerz’ CV speaks for itself. The Walthamstow trio were behind Meridian Dan’s German Whip, the 2014 single that returned grime to the charts, and off the back of that produced highly rated tracks for Dizzee Rascal, Stormzy and more. Last year they moved into the spotlight themselves with Odyssey: A Musical Journey, an 18-track album that really showed the scope of their influence, stretching from grime to UK garage to pop and back again.
Now one of the album’s stand-out tracks, Sorry – a cover of Monsta Boy's 2000 single Sorry (I Didn't Know) – has brand new visuals with a starring role from none other than UKG queen Lisa Maffia. Watch it below, exclusively on Red Bull UK.
Over to The HeavyTrackers:
“Four years ago it was impossible to even think that this track and video could happen for us. We pitched the idea to MonstaBoy in 2014, and they finally give us the green light to use it on our album recently.
"It meant so much to us, we had the crazy idea to ask Lisa Maffia, a UK garage legend to star in it, and she said yes! Mark and Big Narstie are very good friends of ours so it was only right to get them a on it and do this track justice. It's a massive tune and we hope people enjoy it the same we did the original over 15 years ago.”
