Is this the world’s coolest catamaran?
It’s light, rapid and has a badass name: The Flying Phantom is Foiling Generation’s cat of choice.
Take a closer look at The Flying Phantom, a hydrofoil catamaran that skims the surface of the ocean.
The futuristic vessel is 18ft in length, 3m wide, ultra-light weight (155kg), with curved foils, a 9.6m carbon mast, and can travel up to speeds of 35 knots.
Double Olympic champions Roman Hagara and Hans Peter Steinacher will be on board at Red Bull Foiling Generation on 26-28 June. Foiling Generation is our initiative to find the sailing stars of tomorrow, and is open exclusively to 16-20 year-olds.
