Toni Bou wins 2014 Red Bull City Trial
Toni Bou wins the biggest Red Bull City Trial yet, ahead of James Dabill and Michael Brown.
The 16 times World FIM Trial champion, Toni Bou, has won the 2014 Red Bull City Trial in Manchester's famous Deansgate on his first attempt.
The British pairing of 4 x British Trial Champion, James Dabill, 1 x British Trial title winner, Michael Brown, finished second and third respectively.
Bou, who is also the current World Motorcycle Trials Champion, took victory in each of his four heats on the course which stretched 250 metres up Deansgate; Manchester's most celebrated shopping street.
Furthermore, the head-to-head course was designed to reflect Manchester's surroundings, and featured a pair of Manchester M's, a section of canal complete with lock gates, a bridge of the region, two huge footballs, a couple of oversized seesaws plus a huge final jump constructed from a tower of local shipping containers
The Spaniard also added to his victory tally in Manchester, by securing a clean sweep of wins in the final of all four rounds.
