Padel

Ever since he started playing padel at the age of eight, Juan Lebrón Chincoa has never stopped working on his game. Fast forward to today, and he’s one of the world’s top players. He earned the nickname 'El Lobo' (the wolf) and became the first Spaniard to achieve the world number-one ranking in padel.

An unstoppable pairing

Lebrón and his previous padel partner, Alejandro Galán, were almost unstoppable in the World Padel Tour over a number of seasons, winning numerous World Padel Tour events everywhere from Barcelona, Madrid and València in 2020 to Alicante, Lugo, Mahon and Santander in 2021. Prior to teaming up with Galán, Lebrón partnered with Paquito Navarro, with whom he won five tournaments and reached the top of the world rankings.
Right now Lebrón is focused on maintaining his place among the world's top-ranked padel players.

Injury battles and partner changes

While his dominance has been challenged in recent times, his drive and determination remain undiminished. The 2024 season may not have gone exactly as planned, but Lebrón's journey is far from over. He continues to push boundaries, innovate and inspire, solidifying his status as a true icon of padel.
In the 2025 padel season, Juan Lebrón Chincoa experienced a return to more competitive form after a challenging 2024 plagued by physical issues and inconsistency. Early in the year, he and new partner Franco Stupaczuk showed promise, ultimately deciding to end their partnership near the close of the season, citing a desire for better results than merely reaching the semi-finals.

Back in business with Leo

Lebrón transitioned to play with the young Argentine Leandro (Leo) Augsburger, setting the stage for the continuation of his competitive journey through late 2025 and into the 2026 season. Following a strong start to the 2026 season, the future looks bright for the new pairing.
