What is Red Bull Player One?
Red Bull Player One is a global League of Legends 1v1 tournament for amateur players. Forget teams, you’re here to prove how you handle a champion alone – and we’ve partnered with Riot Games EU to bring you the incredible opportunity to make your name on the world stage by doing so.
If you’ve got the skill, you can make your way through the local qualifiers and officially represent your country at the world final in São Paulo, Brazil in November. Better still, you’ll get the chance to receive in-person coaching from some of the best LoL players in the world, staying in a gaming house where they’ll help you hone your talent as you bid for the trophy in front of thousands of fans. Can’t gank like Team Vitality’s Mowgli just? Can’t quite shut down mid like Jiizuke? They’ve got you covered and so have we.
Want to get started? As long as you’re not a current participant in the LCS, LEC, LCK, LPL or any other professional league, you’re at least 16 years old and you have valid travel documents, you can participate in your country’s qualifier (but only one, mind) and start your journey to becoming the Red Bull Player One champion.
Enter your national tournament, work your way up the ranks and if you prove yourself worthy as the regional winner, you’ll head out to the grand finals to compete against the world’s best. Show us what you’ve got.
