Swedish rider Andreas Bergmark has been shredding snowmobiles since he was six years old. His hometown, Fällfors, a small Swedish village outside of Skellefteå, provided the perfect playground for him and his friends to mess around, and he quickly learned how to backflip a cross bike. Andreas showed a knack for going fast and big at an early age.
Andreas bought his first proper snowmobile at 17, and the hobby quickly turned into an obsession. Together with his friends, Andreas would go out riding as often as possible and head to the Swedish Fjells whenever there was a chance.
In 2015 Andreas’ riding had come on so much that he started turning heads. He was sending bigger jumps than most and getting creative and innovative with it, all whilst capturing it on film and uploading it to social media. At a time when whips were pretty uncommon, Andreas was getting them locked in, and the online community loved it.
The following year Andreas took his riding to the next level when he learned how to backflip his snowmobile, and in 2017 his big breakout moment came when he and his friend Adam Thomelius became the first persons ever to backflip the famous Turtle Gap in Revelstoke, Canada. A huge feat that got him worldwide recognition in the snow sports community.
In 2018 he landed the world’s second-ever barrel roll, and in 2020 he stomped his first 270 spin, a trick only mastered by a handful of riders in the world.
Innovation has always been a huge driving force for Andreas, who loves to go bigger and wilder with each trick. Today, he travels the world riding some of the most technical terrains, filming with his friends whilst pushing the sport to new levels: “I love to challenge and push my own limits, connecting with people and travelling to new places, but what I value most is spending time with my closest friends and family”.
