For most race fans, Kuba Przygoński has been primarily associated with the Dakar since winning best rookie at the toughest rally in the world back in 2009. He then went on to claim an excellent eighth-place overall in 2010 and further showcased his ability on the bike by finishing sixth overall in 2014.
That same year Kuba was forced to switch from bike to car after a serious accident at the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge, which saw him fracture three vertebrae in his lumbar spine. Just two years the Polish driver would return to compete at the Dakar Rally, this time driving for the Mini team. He finished an impressive 15th overall and has continued to improve, with his best result coming in 2019 when he finished fourth place overall.
Przygoński was back at the world's toughest rally in 2022 and finished in sixth place in the overall standings for the X-Raid Mini JCW Team.
When not busting the dunes on cross-country rallies, Kuba also turns his hand to drifting. Among his notable achievements are breaking the Guinness World Record for fastest controlled skid – clocking in at 217.97kph – and winning the 2015 Polish Drifting Championship.
