Another tear-jerker from Lizzy Grant's sad-eyed alter-ego – the first glimpse of her forthcoming fifth album, due later this year.
8. The xx – Say Something Loving
The black-clad London soul trio lightened up – a little – on third album I See You, and this standout finds Romy Madley Croft and Oliver Sim singing about the importance of an intimate gesture.
9. Major Lazer ft PARTYNEXTDOOR & Nicki Minaj – Run Up
Diplo's mutant dancehall troupe continue their unbroken run with this wistful outing, featuring Nicki Minaj and Drake affiliate PARTYNEXTDOOR. New LP Music Is The Weapon is due later this year.
10. Sälen – Heartbreak Diet
"Almost every person we know inescapably goes on a heartbreak diet after a particularly bad breakup," explain Sälen. "People should always remember why they broke up: they're probably bad for you." Arch leftfield pop from a London band to watch.
