Nitro team in action

BOOM! Watch Nitro’s mind-blowing trailer now

Judging by this new teaser, Nitro’s new team movie will be their best yet.

We’re huge fans of the Nitro crew: not only do they have one of the most talented teams in snowboarding, everyone’s in it for all the right reasons. And, of course, the all-time number one reason for snowboarding is how much fun it is, closely followed by 2) the friends it brings you, and 3) the places it takes you.

BOOM! Is the third Nitro team movie, and like Hyped and The Bad Seeds before it, BOOM! is more about the fun/friends/travel aspect of snowboarding than anything else out there right now.

That’s not to say this movie won’t be packed with mind-blowing, progressive snowboarding – it will be for sure, as this new trailer clearly shows.

It looks like Germany’s Elias Elhardt will be stealing the powder show, logging extremely steep, deep and fun lines in Japan and Austria. More insane pow from Bryan Fox and Austin Smith on incredibly fun-looking powder sticks follows in Idaho and Retallack, Canada, while on the jib front Marco Swoboda and friends get about as far off the standard urban track as it gets, travelling eastwards through Russia on the trans-Siberian railway. Then of course there’s Eero Ettala, Torgeir Bergrem and Sam Taxwood travelling further north in search of urban adventures than any snowboarder before them – check out the Pyramiden edit right now if you haven’t see it yet.

The cast list reads like a who’s who of stylish and progressive snowboarding – from legends like Eero, Bryan Fox, Jeremy Jones and Markus Keller all the way through to the ultra progressive skills of Sven Thorgren, Marcus Kleveland, Torgier Bergrem and Victor De Le Rue to name just a few, it’s a roster of talent that’s as diverse as the locations visited.
