Students or apprentices currently enrolled in full time higher education (ie. college, university) or an apprenticeship in Ireland during the 2025/2026 academic year.

Applicants must be aged between 18-24 years old at the time of application.

The successful applicant may be asked to provide the necessary evidence of organisation to which they are enrolled.

Applicants may register from 11th February. Applications close on 11th March 2026 at 11am.

Successful applicants will be contacted on 20th March 2026 via Instagram Direct Message.

Applicants should apply for the Sketch to Stormont competition by downloading the design template from here, applying their design to the template, screen grabbing their design on the template and sharing their design on Instagram stories, tagging @RedBullIRE or email your entry to soapboxbelfast@redbull.com.

If the applicant's Instagram profile is set to private, they should send their submission directly to @RedBullIRE via Direct Message.

One design will be selected as the winner of the Sketch to Stormont competition by a panel at Red Bull.

Yes. there is no fee to apply for Red Bull Soapbox Race.

The printing costs will be covered by Red Bull and Red Bull will manage the printing and application of the design to the obstacle. No expenses or costs relating to the design process, or travel to the event, will be covered by the Organiser.

Measurements of the ramp obstacle will be provided on the template which is available to download from the website – www.redbull.com/SoapboxBelfast

The theme of the design is “Gives You WIIINGS”

The winning designs must be provided to Red Bull via email (the email address will be shared with the successful applicant) in the following specifications: 175cm x 20cm landscape graphic, 300 DPI, CMYK print file.

Any design software can be used, once the final design matches the specifications mentions above.

The winning design will be featured on an official ramp obstacle at Red Bull Soapbox Race on 17th May 2026.

X2 VIP Tickets to the event, which will be sent to the winning applicant prior to the event.

The winning designer will have the chance to wave the chequered flag to finish the race.
