Jonathan Amaral, better known as Jonathan Gaming, is one of the most popular esports athletes in India. The 22-year-old has over five million subscribers on YouTube and over three million followers on Instagram.
While growing up in Bandra, a suburb of Mumbai, Jonathan was a keen football and hockey player too. But because he was one of the smaller kids, he was rarely drafted in by the coaches and was picked on by his teammates.
