Broad-shouldered and lightning quick, Pawan is a force to reckon with on the kabaddi mat. In the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) – the biggest kabaddi tournament in the world – he is among an elite few who have notched over 1000 raid points.
The 29-year-old from Delhi is third on the all-time PKL total points chart with 1410 points from 142 matches as of April 2026. His trademark move is the running hand touch and his ‘lion-jump’ escape has earned him the nickname Hi-Flyer. He remains the most expensive player in the league’s history, having earned a bid of for Rs 2.60 crore by the Telugu Titans in Season 10.
A PKL legend, Pawan has also done well for the Indian national team and captained the side that reclaimed gold at the 2022 Asian Games and won the 2023 Asian Championships title.
