Tania Sachdev is an Indian chess player, who holds the titles of International Master and Woman Grandmaster.
She was introduced to the game by her mother Anju at the age of 6. She won her first international title two years after. Tania is a recipient of one of India’s highest sporting honours, the Arjuna Award, which she received in 2009. She was ranked among the top 50 women's chess players as per the FIDE world chess rankings 2014.
