You'll race through these 18 locations in EA SPORTS™ WRC
Get ready for high-speed rally action in an all-new racing experience from EA Sports. Here's every location you'll be powering through in the latest instalment of the quintessential rally game.
Heads up rally fans, developer Codemasters has taken on the WRC license and it looks set to deliver an all-new rally experience. EA SPORTS™ WRC launches on November 3 and boasts a huge roster of locations, with over 600km of unique roads across a variety of terrains including asphalt, gravel and snow. More than 200 stages will be available to play, featuring a plethora of well-known roads, jumps and corners, as well as some totally new rallies.
The game is a true step forward for the series, being the first developed by racing veterans Codemasters, which has been responsible for such driving classics as the official F1 series, the original Colin McRae Rally classic and the Dirt Rally series. This new title introduces exciting features such as the Builder mode, which will allow you to fine-tune your own customised racer. You can also relive real-world highlights in the Moments mode in your own ride or one of over 70 authentically recreated historic vehicles.
18 regions from around the globe are represented in this stacked roster. Here's everything you've got to look forward to when you get behind the wheel.
01
Monte-Carlo
This region of Monaco offers classic mountainous asphalt rally terrain, allowing you to get up some serious speed. But before you get lead foot, remember that you'll have to contend with wintry and icy conditions in this region. Codemasters' dynamic handling system will help you navigate these twisty roads.
02
Sweden
Another iconic snow rally, Sweden offers beautiful scenery to enjoy as you bomb around its icy straights and snow banks. The snowy conditions will test your car's brakes, so make sure you've fine-tuned your vehicle to pump those brakes without delay.
03
México
Take a trip south of the border with the Guanajuato Rally México, a highly technical desert race. As you can see from Thierry Neuville and Martijn Wydaeghe’s IRL dust trail above, you'll have to deal with copious amounts of gravel and dirt.
04
Croatia
Speed through idyllic villages and winding mountain roads in this high-speed asphalt rally. Croatia's tracks are all on asphalt, so you can gain some real speed as you bomb around this beautiful Balkan nation.
05
Portugal
Above, Sébastien Ogier is winding his way through the beautiful countryside with the Vodafone Rally de Portugal. In EA SPORTS™ WRC, this sun-drenched paradise is home to many zig-zaggy parts and a range of tracks made of gravel, tarmac and cobblestone.
06
Sardegna
This gorgeous Mediterranean island is home to the Rally Italia Sardegna, a challenging rally through winding gravel roads. Gravel dominates the terrain here, with precious few stretches of asphalt to be found among its tracks.
07
Kenya
Race through the African wilderness, like Ott Tänak and Martin Järveoja of the M-Sport Ford World Rally Team, in these harsh Kenyan rally tracks, as you kick up copious amounts of gravel, rock and dirt.
08
Estonia
Luscious stretches of serine countryside await players in Estonia, but that shouldn't stop you from putting your foot down and catching some dramatic air from the many huge jumps in this scenic European rally. Prepare to cruise down wide gravel roads and weave through tight corners.
09
Finland
Pull off daring jumps and glide around snow-dusted corners in Finland. Characterised by its suspension-testing gravel roads, Finland is renowned for pushing the durability of vehicles to their limits.
10
Greece
Work up a sweat on twisting mountain roads and harsh gravel tracks, as you struggle to prove your skills in this tough rally. This scenic acropolis features predominantly dirt and gravel tracks.
11
Chile
Test your versatility in this varied gravel rally as you soak in stunning sights among the natural vistas of this South American nation.
12
Japan
Journey to Japan's mountainous Chūbu region and pick up some serious speed in this pulse-pounding rally. This rally is fast and flowing, with verticality in spades, as you climb and descend steep slopes on tarmac roads.
13
Mediterraneo
Enjoy this historic, yet fictional, asphalt rally and watch out for numerous obstacles and extreme drops. This region's tarmac tracks won't put pressure on your tires, but you'll need to be equipped with responsive breaks to avoid the many obstacles that will be thrown your way.
14
Pacifico
Journey to the tropical jungles of East Asia and take on this challenging gravel rally amid hot and humid weather conditions. It's another fictional track, but it'll surely test your mettle.
15
Oceania
Soak in beautiful scenery as you speed through rolling hills and gravel roads in this fictional rally inspired by the continent.
16
Scandia
Another fictional rally sees you head north to chillier climates. Weave through snow-topped trees in this frozen Nordic rally. But be careful not to lose control of your vehicle as you pick up speed around its icy corners.
17
Iberia
One more fictional rally sets sight on southwestern Europe. Put the pedal to the metal in this fictional rally through the countryside of España. This blisteringly fast rally will allow you to really let loose on 100 percent tarmac tracks.
