Red Bull BC One – the world’s most prestigious one-on-one breaking competition – is back in India for its fifth consecutive year in the country. As the action from the regional rounds comes to an end, 20 of the best breakers in the country will now battle at the Red Bull BC One Cypher India, to be held at Bandra Amphitheatre in Mumbai on 13th April, for the coveted title of Red Bull BC One India Champion.
For the first time ever in India, there will be two Red Bull BC One India Champions, as a B-Girl cypher will also be held. 16 of the top B-Boys from around the country will compete for the title in the B-Boys category, while four of the top B-Girls will compete for the first ever B-Girl title. The battles will be judged by Red Bull BC One All Star Ronnie and star breakers B-Boy Luigi and B-Girl Narumi. Winners from both categories will go on to compete at their respective Last Chance Cyphers, which will be held at the Red Bull BC One World Final in Mumbai in November.

36 hours of non-stop breaking

As four Red Bull BC One country cyphers will be held on the same weekend around the world – in India, Poland, UK and Austria – fans will have the opportunity to watch all cyphers and a whole lot more breaking action non-stop for 36 hours on Red Bull TV and YouTube. The broadcast will include all the action from the cyphers, as well as interviews with breaking legends, some of the most incredible moments from the history of Red Bull BC One and some of the finest battles of the year so far. The action begins at 6.30pm IST.

About Red Bull BC One

Red Bull BC One is the most prestigious one-on-one breaking competition in the world. Every year, thousands of dancers across the globe vie for a chance to represent their country at the World Final. Sixteen breakers earn the right to enter into an all-out battle on the Red Bull BC One stage, but only one can be crowned the champion.
Red Bull BC One has had an exciting journey in India since the first-ever edition in 2015 when breakers from around the country travelled to Mumbai. B-boy Flying Machine had been crowned the first Red Bull BC One India Champion. He has grown as a strong competitor in the international breaking scene, even getting personal tutoring from some of the best breakers in the world as he made his way to the Red Bull BC One 2018 Last Chance Cypher.
