Ultimate Cricket Challenge

Watch as Ben Stokes and KL Rahul take on a series of extreme batting challenges designed to test their skills outside cricket’s usual field of play.

England captain Ben Stokes and star Indian batter KL Rahul are well known for their talents on the cricket field.

But they were up for some unconventional challenges that tested their skills away from the conventional 22 yards of a cricket pitch.

Challenge 1

Move the Truck: KL Rahul faced a bowling machine on top of an 18-wheel truck; given eight deliveries, he had to hit the ball for a total of 500 metres.

Challenge 2

Floating Pitch: Stokes stood on a barge in the middle of a lake; his challenge was to hit the ball to six different floating targets on the lake.

Challenge 3

Escape Rooms: Rahul and Ben took turns to face unique challenges in different rooms – first, deliveries come from different angles; second, deliveries at unexpected times; third, a pitch made of marble, rubber, and various other materials; fourth, every ball behaved differently.

Challenge 4

Final Boss: The ultimate test of teamwork, precision, and adaptability as a swarm of moving targets approached the batters. Their task was simple: hit the bowl on each target before it reaches them, culminating in the final target being a suspended glass from a drone octocopter.
