Skateboarding is a broad church. Yoshi Tanenbaum’s road has taken him from Jerusalem to Johannesburg, via Washington DC and into the big leagues of the game in California.
One quick step-up for him was his now-famous Bang Yo-Self debut on the Berrics website, which began a run that continued through winning the Damn Am contest series of 2016, where inevitably many future pros are to be seen. Such is that aspect of the sponsored skateboarding life.
Possessor of some of the most flexible flicks in a generation and terrifyingly consistent, he impressed throughout our long Korean tour – then flew straight home and won a contest.
Not everybody has those reserves in their skate tank, which is topped up by heart.
Enjoy a final pure drop from Yoshi Tanenbaum, who is absolutely having it on his skateboard right now.
