Growing up in a hotbed for both snowmobile and off-road racing, Andrew Carlson initially focused on the former and enjoyed plenty of success. Having worked his way up to the top level of professional snocross, he achieved plenty of victories and competed in the Winter X Games on three occasions.

However, in 2014, he decided to pursue another passion as he made his debut in The Off-Road Championship. Initially seen as a way to keep busy during the summer months, his motorsports career began to take off.
