Arthur Van Doren grew up playing different sports, but it was ultimately the hockey field that won his heart. He started his career at KHC Dragons in Belgium, where he played until the age of 23. He was all the rage in all the youth teams, until he was called up to the first team in 2010 at the age of just 15. From that point on, his focus was entirely focused on hockey and his career took off.
Barely two years later, Arthur was playing with the Belgian national hockey team, something he says is due to being surrounded by talented and experienced players from an early age. "It made me the player I am today," he says. "I always like to develop myself further in such an environment and to work with talented and ambitious people."
