Raised in the shadows of Mt Baker in Washington, USA, Cannon Cummins has developed a distinctive style that seamlessly blends technical prowess with creative expression on natural terrain. Unlike riders who cut their teeth in terrain parks, Cannon honed his skills chasing his parents, snowboarding legends Barrett Christy and Temple Cummins, around the mountains of the Pacific Northwest.
Two traits stand out starkly in Cannon’s snowboarding. The first is grace. Be it a built feature, backcountry line or unique inbound hit, how he rides is as much art as it is a sport. With the mountain as his canvas, his approach and trick selection always seem to be what the terrain asks for, but only Cannon can see. The second trait is natural ability.
