Introduced to the world of motorbikes by his father and uncle, who run Brown Brothers Racing, Carson Brown started riding at the age of three and quickly developed into a real all-rounder.
Starting out on a PW50 and quickly graduating to an XR50, Carson turned pro in 2018 and has enjoyed plenty of success in the world of supercross. The American is renowned for his technical prowess and has been tipped to become a future star in the World Supercross Championship.
It certainly seems that the gnarlier the course the better Carson performs. This was seen in 2020 and again in 2022 when he claimed first place at Red Bull Straight Rhythm. The latter victory was particularly impressive as heavy rain made the course even more treacherous.
However, Carson is used to unpredictable climate and terrain having learned his trade in Washington state. “Six months out of the year, it's pretty much raining and muddy and there's not a lot going on. I wasn't riding perfectly groomed tracks or just in the dry all the time. I was out riding the rain, the ruts, the rocks, through the trees, doing anything I could just to make it through the winter,” he says.
In addition to his success on the bike, Carson has crafted a huge following thanks in large to his exciting style and his popular YouTube videos which see him tackle a variety of bike builds.
Currently competing in the AMA 250cc West Championship, where he achieved four top-10 finishes in 2022, Carson hopes to one day challenge for titles, but is currently content simply doing what he loves.
He says: “I want to be known as the guy that can do anything and just loves anything with two wheels. I want to spread the joy of it and show that we can race it all. I wouldn’t trade what I’m doing for anything."
