Born and raised in the Remiremont area of eastern Vosges in France, slalom master Clément Noël is one of the hottest properties of the alpine skiing scene.

Having moved to Val d’Isere and joined the France B team in 2015, aged just 18, Clément debuted at World Cup level in Finland in 2016. The following year, he scored his first World Cup points by finishing 20th in the slalom at Val d'Isere, having become French slalom champion earlier in the season.
