Most people find their life passion in adulthood, but that's not the case for Italian MotoGP™ rider Enea Bastianini. He first got on a bike at three years and three months, and his passion hasn’t wavered since.

Rising through the ranks

His ability was evident from an early age, as 'La Bestia' cleaned up on the minimoto scene. His debut in the Red Bull MotoGP™ Rookies Cup in 2013 was nothing short of amazing, as he won two races and established himself as a serious prospect for rapid progression to the World Championship.
His talent was rewarded with a step into Moto3™ in 2014, and three podiums and the Rookie of the Year crown reinforced his reputation.
In 2015, Enea didn't step it up a gear – he stepped it up a few. A first victory on home turf at Misano and a total of six podiums (including four pole positions) saw him take third place in the final championship standings.
The following season, Enea continued to race in the Moto3™ class with Gresini Racing, finishing the season as the championship runner-up, with another six podiums and a win at Motegi.
Enea made the step up to Moto2™ in 2019, joining the Italtrans Racing Team. A 10th-place championship finish in his debut season was followed up by him winning the Moto2™ World Championship title, with three wins and seven podiums.

A well-deserved place in MotoGP™

After claiming the Moto2™ title, Enea was awarded a ride in the motorcycle Grand Prix racing's top division, MotoGP™, with Esponsorama Racing for the 2021 season. He went on to score two podium finishes that season, finishing third at the San Marino Grand Prix and the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix.
The Italian then joined Gresini Racing MotoGP for the 2022 campaign and made the perfect start, claiming his first victory in the premier class at the season-opening Qatar Grand Prix. Further victories would come in America, France and Spain as Enea secured third place in the overall championship standings.
Enea was then looking to challenge for the title after joining Ducati for the 2023 season, but a series of injuries blighted that season, despite an impressive victory in the Malaysian GP. The following year saw him back on strong form, though, as he was amongst a group of riders challenging for the title, eventually finishing fourth overall after two Sunday wins.
In 2025, Enea signed for a full factory ride with Red Bull KTM Tech3 alongside Maverick Viñales. He spent the season adapting to the KTM RC16 and added one podium finish to his record - a third place at the Catalan Grand Prix.
