François Cazalet was among the first intake of the Red Bull Off-Road Junior Team. Since then, the French co-driver has more than proved his worth to the squad during multiple trips to the Dakar as well as appearances at cross-country rallies around the world.

As Cristina Gutiérrez’s co-driver, Cazalet helped the Spanish racer make history at the 2021 Dakar. On the opening day of the rally Gutiérrez became the first female stage winner since Jutta Kleinschmidt’s last stage win in 2005. It was a clear sign that the Red Bull Off-Road Junior Team and their OT3 machine could hold their own against anyone.
