Born and raised in St George, Utah, USA, Jaxson Riddle got his first downhill bike when he was 15 and hasn't put the big rig down since. Surrounded by some of the very best mountain bike trails in North America, he's spent countless hours ripping lines around his hometown.
All those hours of practice have helped Jaxson develop a distinctive riding style, combining big-mountain composure with tricks inspired by his motocross background.
Hooked in
First introduced to the freeride scene by Reed Boggs, he got hooked on high speed and big air, and before too long, was travelling round the world to take part in high-profile competitions.
Jaxson made an immediate impression on his Red Bull Rampage debut in 2021, taking home the Best Style Award. He returned the following year and claimed the award for a second consecutive time, standing out with a run packed with moto-inspired tricks.
Jaxson continued to leave his mark at Rampage in 2025, winning the Best Trick Award with a heelclick backflip inspired by his motocross roots. He is set to return to Utah in 2026 as part of the Red Bull Rampage men's field, and ahead of the event he finally realised a year-long dream by sending a huge 100ft man-made dirt-to-dirt jump in the desert.
From his moto-influenced tricks to his composure on big-mountain terrain, Jaxson has developed a style that's unmistakably his own and continues to make him stand out on freeride's biggest stage.
