Growing up in Shailer Park, Queensland, gaming was always a big part of Lachlan Power's life. The Australian loved the competitive nature of gaming and regularly played titles like Minecraft, Call of Duty and Battlefield.
In 2013, Lachlan launched his own YouTube channel, initially focusing on Minecraft content. Then, when the Pokemon Go phenomenon took the world by storm, he began to create content about the game and his audience quickly grew. By the time he started uploading gameplay videos of Fortnite Battle Royale, he was already one of the most popular gamers in Australia.
By 2019 his channel reached 10 million subscribers, becoming the first Australian gaming content creator to hit that milestone, and in 2020 he launched his own professional esports Fortnite team, called PWR. This would go on to become a gaming, entertainment and apparel brand.
Such has been his success in the world of Fortnite that Lachlan received his own in-game outfit set as part of the Icon Series – becoming just the second Australian media personality to earn that accolade.
Now with more than 23 million subscribers across his various social media channels, Lachlan continues to release a wealth of content and is showing no signs of slowing down.
