Martín Landaluce has tennis in his veins. He started practicing aged just one and grew up at the courts watching his parents and siblings playing. He started training hard and competing at the age of nine, quickly gathering a reputation in Spain as a young player with great tennis potential.
In the following years Martín's continued to compete at both home and abroad, going on to achieve the greatest success of his young career to date – winning the extremely prestigious U.S. Open Junior title in 2022.
This victory emphatically confirmed the Madrid native as one of the most promising and impressive tennis talents currently coming to age on the ATP tour. He's even taken on established top-10 ranked players already after taking on Andrey Rublev at the innovative Red Bull Bassline event on home soil in Madrid in 2023.
Now, Martín is taking on the best of the ATP Challenger Tour, where he's already bagged a tournament win in Italy and a handful more top-three finishes, with the goal of reaching the full ATP tour and playing in Grand Slams in the very near future.
Tennis fans really need to keep an eye this latest great Spanish talent.
