Freeski ace Max Hitzig is driven by a certain addiction to adrenaline and the feeling of freedom. "When I freeride, I can forget everything else and feel pure freedom," he says.
Since he was eight years old and learned to freeride from his mountain guide father, Max has been chasing this feeling "that nothing can compare to". At 13, the Bludenz, Austria, native decided to become a professional skier. A goal that he achieved after successfully completing his apprenticeship as an electrical technician at the age of 19.
