Born in Poggibonsi, Siena, Italy on July 1, 2002, Riccardo 'Reynor' Romiti discovered StarCraft II in December 2010, aged just eight-and-a-half. He began by playing with his father, Massimo, for fun, but after about three years he started to get noticed by several international teams and was snapped up by the Swiss outfit MYSanity. He participated in several tournaments, but because he was only 12 years old he was unable to take part in the official eSports circuits.

At just 14 years old, Reynor achieved an incredible Top-8 finish at the Valencia Dreamhack, but because of his age his points were taken away and, in a change to the regulations, for two years he was unable to participate. From 2018, however, at 16 years of age, he was finally allowed to re-enter the official circuit and right away Reynor won many online tournaments. He took fifth-placed finishes at both the WESG in China and at the WCS in Valencia, in addition, he made the final of the Montreal WCS against the current star, Serral, narrowly missing out on the title.
