As son of former Speedway racer Paul Lambert, bikes were a part of Robert Lambert’s life from a very young age. In fact, Lambert started to compete in grasstrack racing aged six and was on the junior speedway circuit by the time he was 10 years old.
Lambert gained more early experience in Germany where he was allowed to progress to a higher standard of competition despite his young age. After returning to the UK he joined King’s Lynn Young Stars in 2013 before quickly being promoted to the Stars Elite League as the race wins started to stack up. Lambert has since picked up honours across Europe, dominating tracks in Germany, Denmark and Poland as well as in his native UK.
In 2017, Lambert won the European Under-19 Cup and the European Individual Speedway Junior Championship. The following year he got his hands on the British Speedway Championship.
In 2020 Lambert became the first British rider to win the Speedway European Championship, leaving nobody in any doubt that Lambo's ready to mix it with the world's best.
